Mixed Media Acrylic Collage 1

The first in a series. Sometimes it can be helpful to carry over symbols or themes so that we can really explore personal meaning, as we come to understand more about ourselves through our art. In this peice we see the beginning of themes carried through: the moon, male and female forms, barriers, water drops, stars, an empty house, a pineapple (I mean, why not?). We see the moon in waxing, the stars kept out of the sky, water drops coming to bring back life, the house - empty, and a spiky barrier between the male and female forms.
